Product name CAS:1081110‑69‑1:Dalazatide
Description Dalazatide (also known as ShK‑186) is a new‑generation peptide‑based highly selective Kv1.3 potassium channel blocker optimized from sea anemone toxin ShK. It specifically binds and blocks Kv1.3 channels on the surface of effector memory T cells, inhibits T cell activation, proliferation and pro‑inflammatory factor secretion, and alleviates autoimmune inflammatory responses. Its selectivity for Kv1.3 subtype is much higher than other potassium channel subtypes, with extremely low off‑target cardiac and neurological side effects. Applied in mechanism research of autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and targeted peptide drug development.
Peptide purity (HPLC, %) 95%/98%/99%
Theoretical molecular weight (Da) ~4000 (subject to actual synthetic batch)
Structure type Disulfide‑rich rigid peptide, optimized native backbone modification

Functional Description

Product Code Frontend Short Summary (for search list display) Detailed Biological Function Description Applicable Research Areas (comma-separated) Targets / Pathways
PEP-DAL001 Highly selective Kv1.3 channel blocking peptide that targets and inhibits effector memory T cells and alleviates autoimmune inflammation Dalazatide binds Kv1.3 voltage-gated potassium channels on effector memory T cell surface with high affinity, blocks potassium efflux through the channel, inhibits calcium signal homeostasis and cell cycle progression required for T cell activation, thereby inhibits proliferation, activation and pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion of autoreactive effector memory T cells, and alleviates autoimmune tissue damage. Its selectivity for Kv1.3 subtype is far higher than cardiac and neurological related subtypes such as Kv1.1 and Kv1.2, with significantly lower off-target toxicity than non-selective potassium channel blockers. It is a cutting-edge tool molecule for targeted therapy research of autoimmune diseases. Psoriasis research, Multiple sclerosis research, Rheumatoid arthritis, Autoimmune disease mechanism, T cell function research, Ion channel pharmacology Kv1.3 voltage-gated potassium channel; T cell activation calcium signaling pathway; Effector memory T cell-mediated autoimmune inflammatory pathway
