Functional Description

Product Code Frontend Short Summary (for search list display) Detailed Biological Function Description Applicable Research Areas (comma-separated) Target / Receptor
PEP-FC131 FC131 is a highly selective cyclic peptide CXCR4 antagonist, potently blocks endogenous ligand SDF-1 binding, suppresses tumor metastasis, stem cell homing and HIV gp120-mediated viral entry, canonical tool antagonist for chemokine pathway research FC131 is an engineered 9-amino-acid cyclic peptide incorporating unnatural cycloleucine residue. Dual terminal modification (N-acetylation + C-amidation) combined with intramolecular disulfide bond drastically enhances peptidase resistance and CXCR4 subtype selectivity, with nanomolar binding affinity to CXCR4 and negligible off-target binding to CXCR1/CXCR2/CXCR7. Core biological activities: 1. Chemokine axis blockade: Competitively inhibits SDF-1α binding to CXCR4, fully abrogates chemotactic migration of immune cells, tumor cells and hematopoietic stem cells; 2. Oncological research: Blocks tumor cell invasion and distant metastasis for solid tumor metastasis & tumor microenvironment models; 3. Antiviral application: Prevents HIV gp120 co-receptor engagement with CXCR4 to suppress entry of X4-tropic HIV strains; 4. Stem cell & inflammation regulation: Modulates hematopoietic stem cell homing and attenuates inflammatory immune cell infiltration in autoimmune disorders. Widely applied in tumor metastasis pharmacology, chemokine GPCR research, HIV virology, stem cell biology, immune inflammation and targeted peptide drug screening Tumor metastasis pharmacology, Chemokine GPCR research, HIV viral entry mechanism, Hematopoietic stem cell homing, Immune inflammatory regulation, Autoimmune disease models, Peptide antagonist drug development Chemokine Receptor CXCR4 (highly selective); No significant cross-reactivity with CXCR1, CXCR2, CXCR7
