Product Code Appearance Long-term Storage Short-term Storage Solution Stability Solid Powder Stability
PEP-TYVPANASL-01 white to off-white powder (typical form of synthetic epitope peptides; appearance not separately published on this SKU page) Store frozen below -20°C, protected from light, in a dry and sealed container; stable for 3 years as powder at -20°C (TargetMol); keep away from moisture; shipped on blue ice or at ambient temperature Store sealed and dry at 4°C, use within 2-4 weeks; after reconstitution, aliquot into single-use portions and freeze below -20°C, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles Moderately hydrophobic (56% hydrophobic residues); reconstitute in water or acidic buffer, using a small amount of DMSO as a cosolvent if needed and then diluting with water; solution is stable for 1 year at -80°C (TargetMol); contains 1 Tyr residue, so keep reconstituted solution protected from light to avoid photo-oxidation powder is stable for 3 years at -20°C (TargetMol); keep moisture-proof and sealed; contains a Tyr residue, so keep the solid protected from light as well

Functional Description

Product Code Frontend Short Summary Detailed Biological Function Description Applicable Research Areas (comma-separated) Targets / Pathways
PEP-TYVPANASL-01 The minimal CTL epitope TYVPANASL (aa 66-74) from HER2/neu, an H-2d (BALB/c mouse) MHC-I-restricted CD8+ T cell epitope used in J-HER/J-LEAPS cancer vaccine development. TYVPANASL derives from HER2/neu (the neu proto-oncoprotein used in the rat BALB/c tumor model). It is the minimal CD8+ T cell (CTL) epitope at aa 66-74 and is an MHC-I (H-2d)-restricted epitope. Literature confirms it as the core CTL-eliciting epitope of the J-HER/J-LEAPS cancer vaccine ("J-HER incorporates a prominent CTL eliciting minimal epitope (aa 66-74: TYVPANASL) for BALB/c mice"). The peptide stimulates H-2d-restricted CD8+ T cell responses and is used in HER2-positive cancer immunotherapy vaccine development and tumor immunity mechanism studies. Tumor immunology, CD8+ T cell detection, Cancer vaccine development, MHC-I epitope identification MHC-I (presented by H-2d); CD8+ T cell receptor (TCR)
